Saadeys Place

Small place that is the restaurant of a hotel chain. The restrooms are in the hallway. DON'T GET THE Gyro!!!😡 The calamari was good and I would recommend the tater tots and smoked brisket. The BREAD is also very good.

I first visited because of the article in the Youngstown Vindicator stating that Saadey's has the best burgers. I agree that they have a phenomenal taste and mouth feel. I highly recommend the burgers and the meatballs. While visiting again I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Joe Saadey. I witnessed him going from guest to guest as if meeting old friends and verifying that everyone was pleased with their meals and service. He has had this establishment five years and is also owner of the Upstairs. While chatting with Joe you sense that he really enjoys the food service business. Check out the amazing artwork on the walls done by Joe's own mother. This place is absolutely amazing.

I really enjoyed Saadey's Place - the food was good, the people were fun and you definitely felt welcomed.
